1. Ante-Post Betting
Where a golfer withdraws before the start of a tournament then all bets on that participant will be declared void, except for the four Majors (US Masters, US Open, The Open & US PGA) which will be classed as Antepost Bets up until the Sunday immediately before the start of the event.
2. Player Withdrawn
A golfer who tees off will be deemed to have played. All stakes will be lost on outright betting if a golfer withdraws from play after he or she has teed off.
3. Dead-Heat
Dead-Heat rules will apply to the place part of each-way bets. In the event of a trophy being shared, Dead-Heat rules will apply to the win bet. For each way bets dead heat rules apply. For example, if each-way terms quoted for a tournament are for the first 4 places, the 3 players tying for third place will be deemed to have dead-heated for third, fourth and fifth place with 1/3 stake lost and 2/3 stake settled at full place odds for each way bets on those players.
4. Reduced/Cancelled Tournaments
For all outright bets to stand at least 36 holes must be completed and a winner declared by the official governing body. If 36 holes have not been completed then all bets on the outright market will be made void. Any outright bets which are placed after the completion of any round where no further play counts will be made void. If a tournament is reduced to 36 or 54 holes and a play-off is required to determine the winner any bets placed after the final completed round will also be made void as the prices would reflect 36 or 18 more holes to play. Any market where the outcome has already been decided and further play will not affect the result for example 1st Round Leader or 2/3 ball betting where the round in question had been completed will be settled on the official round results.
5. Two and Three Ball Betting
If a player withdraws before the start of a specified 2-Ball or 3-Ball, then all bets on that market will be declared void. A player must play one complete hole before being deemed a runner. If a round is abandoned then bets on that round will be declared void. In the event of a 2-Ball or 3-Ball being rearranged with different players, bets struck will be settled on the original golfer’s relative scores. For 3-Ball betting dead-heat rules apply. In the event that a price is not offered for a tie in 2-Ball betting, then bets will be void in the event of a tie. If a price is offered for a tie in 2-Ball betting, that price will determine settlement. Any tournament that applies the Stableford scoring system, the highest point scorer during the round will be deemed the winner
6. 54, 72 and 90 Hole Match Bets
In the case of 54, 72 and 90 Hole Match bets, whichever player completes the most holes is deemed the winner as long as both players have completed 9 holes. If both players complete the same amount of holes the player with the lowest score is deemed the winner. If either player does not complete 9 holes bets will be void. If a tournament is affected by adverse weather, bets will be settled provided that there is a deemed an official tournament winner and a minimum of 36 holes are completed. If one player misses the cut then the other player is deemed the winner. If both players miss the cut then the lowest score after the cut has been made will determine settlement.
7. 'Blind Singles Betting'
For Ryder Cup 'Blind Singles' betting, bets are settled as win or lose by matchplay rules. All ties/halved matches, including players "shaking hands" on an unfinished match, will be deemed losing bets.
8. Special Markets
If the tournament is shortened then following bets will be void unless the result is already determined. Hole in one, winning scores, total number of birdies/bogies, driving distances markets. You are betting on whether one of the two/three named players will win the golf tournament. Both/all players nominated must tee off for bets to stand; otherwise bets will be made void.
9. Enhanced Double/Treble Chance
You are betting on whether one of the two/three named players will win the golf tournament. Both/all players nominated must tee off for bets to stand; otherwise bets will be made void.
10. Straight/Dual Forecast Betting
You are betting on players coming 1st and 2nd in the tournament (either order for dual forecast) Both players must tee off for bets to stand; otherwise bets will be made void. Dead heat rules will apply i.e. a 3 way tie for second will mean the bet will be settled at 1/3 of the original stake.
11. Top 5, 10, 20 Place Betting
You are betting on selected players finishing in top 5, 10 or 20. Dead heat rules will apply.
12. Age of Winner
You are betting on the tournaments winners’ age. For settlement purposes players’ ages are as of the day before the tournament starts.
13. Nearest The Pin Betting
You are betting on which player will be nearest the pin in regulation on selected holes. Regulation is: Par 3 after 1 shot: Par 4 after 2 shots: Par 5 after 3 shots. If both players miss the green in regulation then bets will be void.
14. To Win A Tournament On The European/PGA Tour
Counting events will be all events advertised on the respective tour calendars – European running from 8th Jan to the final event on the 2015RTD. – PGA running from 9th Jan to the Tour Championship.
15. Tournament Group Betting (inc. Top European, U.S., U.K. etc.)
You're betting on: which player will achieve the highest placing at the end of the tournament from the group named.
Players are grouped together for betting purposes only.
If a selected player does not play, the bet will be void and Tattersalls Rule 4(c) will apply.
Dead Heat Rules apply except if a winner is decided by a play-off.
16. To Finish Last
Players Must fully complete the official number of holes in the event ( For example if the event was shortened to 54 holes but was deemed an official result still for outright purposes then all bets on to finish last stand.
Any player that withdraws or is disqualified , and has hit a shot is deemed a runner and will be a losing bet.
If a selected player does not play, the bet will be void and Tattersalls Rule 4(c) will apply.
Dead Heat Rules may apply.
