Soccer Bet Builder Rules (Tournament Markets)
1. Where placing a bet on a Bet Builder Tournament Market, the below rules shall apply, even where they differ from BetVictor standard ante-post markets. In the event of conflict between the rules set out below and the Soccer Rules, the below rules shall prevail.
2. All bets relate to the tournament, unless otherwise stated explicitly in the bet description. For example: “In the group stages”.
3. Extra time will count, unless otherwise specified.
4. Penalty shootouts do not count, unless otherwise specified.
5. If any component part of the bet is made void, then the whole bet becomes void.
6. In the event of a dispute, the decision of BetVictor’s data provider will be final.
7. Own goals and penalty shoot outs do not count in any bet involving goal scorers/player goals, unless otherwise specified.
8. For any bets involving “free-kick” goals, the goal must be scored directly from a free-kick. Penalties and corners do not count.
9. Any bets involving Assist (defined as “the final pass or pass-cum-shot leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal”) includes the following actions: Penalty won, attempt saved, a shot that hits woodwork, a rebound scored; instigating an own goal through a shot/pass.
10. If a player receives two (02) yellow cards during the match and is consequently shown a red card during the match, the player will be considered to have received a total of two (02) cards. No individual player will be able to receive a total number of cards exceeding two (02) in any one match. Extra-time counts, but any cards shown after the final whistle will not count towards the total. A straight red card is counted as one (01) card in every circumstance.
11. Any cards shown to players that are part of their team’s matchday squad whether they are on the field of play or not will count. Cards shown to backroom staff do not count towards the total.
12. Team to reach stage outcomes: Teams have to reach at least the specified stage of the tournament. For example, “England to reach the quarter finals’’ would be settled as a winning bet if England reached the semi-finals or the final of the tournament.
13. Team to score/concede goals in stage outcomes: Teams must: (a) exceed the number quoted if the Customer bets “Over”; or (b) less than the number quoted if the Customer bets “Under”.
14. Team to outscore team in stage outcomes: Teams must outscore their opponent. If team “A” scores less than team “B”, or the same as its opponent, this will be settled as a losing bet. Goals scored in extra time will count towards the team’s total number of goals, but goals scored in penalty shootouts will not count.
15. Player to score at least ‘x’ goals: The player specified must score at least the number of goals quoted in order for this outcome to be settled as a winner. All bets stand regardless of whether named players participate in the tournament or not.
16. Player to outscore a player: Players must outscore their opponents. If the player scores less than, or the same as his opponent, this will be settled as a losing bet. Goals scored in extra time will count towards the player’s total, but goals scored in penalty shootouts will not count. All bets stand regardless of whether named players participate in the tournament or not.
17. Any bet requiring both teams/players to score, or to score two (02) or more or three (03) or more goals requires each named team/player to score the relevant number of goals.
18. Player group to outscore a player group: Player groups must outscore their opponent groups in aggregate. If groups score less than, or the same as their opponents this will be settled as a losing bet. Goals scored in extra time will count towards the group’s total, but goals scored in penalty shootouts will not count. All bets stand regardless of whether named players participate in the tournament or not.
19. Team to progress furthest: The team must progress further in the tournament than its opponent. If the team exits the competition at the same stage, bets will be settled as losing bets. Where the two tournament finalists are paired together in an outcome, the winner shall be the team that wins the tournament. The same rule shall apply to any playoff matches for third and fourth place positions.
20. Player to receive a red card: Player must receive one (01) or more, red card during the tournament to be settled as a winning bet. Red cards awarded during extra time will count. Any red card shown after the final whistle will not count. All players that are part of their team’s squad will be deemed as runners whether they take to the field of play or not.
21. Player to score a header: Player must score at least one (01) headed goal during the tournament to be settled as a winner. Headed goals scored during extra time will count. All bets stand regardless of whether named players participate in the tournament or not. Headed Goal means: “The last touch by the goal scorer must be with the head”.
22. Player to score a free-kick: Player must score at least one (01) goal from a direct free-kick during the tournament to be settled as a winning bet. Goals scored by a direct free-kick during extra time will count. All bets stand regardless of whether named players participate in the tournament or not. For settlement purposes, neither a penalty or corner will count as a free-kick.
23. Player to outscore a team: Player must outscore his opponent. If a player scores less than, or the same number of goals as his opponent, this will be settled as a losing bet. Goals scored in extra time count towards the total number of goals scored during the tournament but goals scored in penalty shootouts do not count. All bets stand regardless of whether named players participate in the tournament or not. Own goals do not count towards the player’s totals but they do count towards the team’s total and are awarded to the team credited with the goal.
24. Team to outscore a player: Team must outscore its opponent. If a team score less than, or the same number of goals as its opponent, this will be settled as a losing bet. Goals scored in extra time count towards the totals number of goals scored during the tournament, but goals scored in penalty shootouts do not count. All bets stand regardless of whether named players participate in the tournament or not. Own goals do not count towards the player’s totals, but they do count towards the team’s total and are awarded to the team credited with the goal.
25. Woodwork being hit: If the ball hits any part of the woodwork, this part of the bet will be considered a winner.
26. BetVictor reserves the right to cancel any bet (a) placed at a price which contains an obvious error; and (b) on a tournament that contains an error within the description of an outcome.
27. Outcome is a tie: The whole bet will be considered a losing bet. For example, “Harry Kane to be the top England goal scorer” will be settled as a loser if any other England player scores the same amount, or more than, Harry Kane.
28. The maximum pay-out per Customer per day on all Bet Builder markets is five hundred thousand pounds Sterling (GB £500,000) or currency equivalent.
29. Match day squad:Means the starting eleven (11) and substitutes.
30. Active part: Refers to any player who either starts or comes on as a substitute during any game.
31. Shot On Target: A shot on target is defined as any goal attempt that:
31.1 Goes into the net regardless of intent.
31.2 Is a clear attempt to score that would have gone into the net but for being saved by the goalkeeper or is stopped by a player who is the last-man with the goalkeeper having no chance of preventing the goal (last line block).
31.3 Shots directly hitting the frame of the goal are not counted as shots on target, unless the ball goes in and is awarded as a goal.
31.4 Note: Shots blocked by another player, who is not the last-man, are not counted as shots on target.
31.5 This market is adjudicated by OPTA.
32. Shot Off Target: A shot off target is defined as any clear attempt to score that:
32.1 Goes over or wide of the goal without making contact with another player.
32.2 Would have gone over or wide of the goal but for being stopped by a goalkeeper's save or by an outfield player.
32.3 Directly hits the frame of the goal and a goal is not scored.
32.4 Blocked shots are not counted as shots off target.
32.5 This market is adjudicated by OPTA.
33. Goal Assist: The final touch (pass, pass-cum-shot or any other touch) leading to the recipient of the ball scoring a goal. If the final touch (as defined in bold) is deflected by an opposition player, the initiator is only given a goal assist if the receiving player was likely to receive the ball without the deflection having taken place. Own goals, directly taken free kicks, direct corner goals and penalties do not get an assist awarded. This market is adjudicated by OPTA.
34. Tackle: A tackle is defined as where a player connects with the ball in a ground challenge where he successfully takes the ball away from the player in possession. The tackled player must clearly be in possession of the ball before the tackle is made. It is not a tackle, when a player cuts out a pass by any means. This market is adjudicated by OPTA.
35. Offside: Awarded to the player deemed to be in an offside position where a free kick is awarded. If two or more players are in an offside position when the pass is played, the player considered to be most active and trying to play the ball is given offside. This market is adjudicated by OPTA.
36. Body Part for Goals/Shots: The following four body parts are collected: Right foot, left foot, head and other. Foot includes any connection with the leg. This market is adjudicated by OPTA.
37. Pass: Any intentional played ball from one player to another. Passes include open play passes, goal kicks, corners and free kicks played as pass – but exclude crosses, keeper throws and throw-ins. This market is adjudicated by OPTA.
38. Daily Tournament Markets: Should any match be postponed/abandoned then all outcomes involving that match will be made void, any unaffected outcomes will be settled as normal when the results are known.
39. For any eventualities not covered by these rules, BetVictor’s standard Soccer Betting Rules will apply.
Snooker Bet Builder Rules
1. Re-racks: Re-racks: In the event of a re-rack the original frame will count for settlement purposes providing the first red is potted for any bets for which an outcome for that market is known. E.g. First legally potted red will be the colour potted BEFORE the re-rack if applicable.
2. Player Match Centuries / Total Match Centuries: If the specified number of frames in a match are not completed, bets will be void unless the outcome of that Market has already been determined.
3. Next Frame Total Points / Next Frame Highest Break: Points awarded prior to a re-rack will be disregarded unless the outcome has already been determined.
4. First potted ball betting: First legally potted colour: First legally potted colour refers to the first colour ball potted in the frame excluding colours potted when the shot incurs a foul.
5. Player to pot first red: Player to pot first red refers to the player who pots the first red legally, excluding reds potted when the shot incurs a foul. When a red is potted but the shot incurs a foul (e.g. the white ball is also potted) then the market will stand until a player has legally potted the next red.
6. All Session/Mini Session Markets: All Session/Mini Session frames must be completed within the duration of the match for bets to stand.
7. Handicap betting/Frame betting/Total frames: If the statutory number of frames in a match are not completed, changed, or different from those offered for betting purposes, bets will be void. In the event of a disqualification or retirement bets will be void.
8. Race to Markets: Either player must reach the designated market total for bets to stand.
9. Will there be a 50+ Break / 100+ Break: In the event of a frame starting but not being completed then all bets will be void, unless the outcome has already been determined.
